Have to send out this morning before lunch. Had a very bad stomachache :S

Check the timeline:
I need to finish Chapter 3 and 4 in 3 days. Handin time is August 23rd. Need to hard hard writing from now. Just get the literature review thing revised and summarized again yesterday. So get a good start :) Keep on!

Aim: Finishing the first draft of Chapter 3.

3:37pm -- 6:30pm Chapter 3 draw the graph.

Thesis plan and time track

August 18th....Finally get the timeline set yesterday. Now need to get down to write, hard working!

** August 23rd, Charpter 3 and 4 done
** Sept. 5th, First draft ready, Abstract ready, submit the committee form to the school of CS and Dean office.
** Sept. 12th, Revision suggestion back
** Sept. 21st, Thesis submit to committe.
** October 5th, Thesis defense

only 3 hrs... :S , so make up on Saturday

10:00am -- 1:00pm 3hrs. Learned significance testing, null hypotheis, one-tailed /two-tailed test; write up the experimental data preparation part.

1:00pm -- 2:25pm lunch, reading the HOT project, email information extraction for security ? sounds interesting

7:25pm -- 8:50pm writing the LR.

8:50pm -- midnight fireworks ~ :)

4th day

only tracking the research time...

10:10am -- 12:10am literature review

3:30pm -- 6:10pm Run SVM_light, literature review

8:55pm -- 11:00pm literature review , break and chat in between

5 hours in total

3rd day

7:40am --9:30am Breakfast and looking for the missing doc. (Learned a lesson, get better managed of the confidencial docs in the future)
9:40am -- 12:00pm Reading and writing the literature review --- 2.20hr
12:00pm -- 12:30pm lunch
1:30pm -- 2:30 pm Fred & Anoop meeting , decide meeting on Friday again. Current task : writing literature review and get familiar with SVM
3:00pm -- 3:20pm walk and chat with Flavia, planning for an informal CS girl's lunch
3:25pm -- 4:20pm working on thesis , not much writing though
4:20pm -- 8:00pm swimming, dinner, cleaning the house.
8:00pm -- 11:00pm study on the thesis, - 2hr on processing the emails and renewing study permit.

Altogether 5 hours on thesis.

7:30am -- 9:20am Taichi , breakfast, lunch packing ...
9:40am -- 10:00am Checking emails...
10:20am -- 12:30am Discussing the traning framework with zhongmin( very productive :))
12:30pm -- 2:35pm Fitness and lunch
2:50pm -- 6:10pm Thesis writing, studying the behavior of question order... searching for theoretical foundation.
8:50pm -- 11:00pm Formulate and put down the idea of machine learning frame work.
