Concept

Entropy: It is a measure of model's uncertainty about the future. It is low if the model expect a perticular symbol to occur with a high probability. It increases when the estimated probability distribution approaches normal.

Time just flies. I am afraid to look at the calendar :S

As my father wrote in the email today : Good good study , day day up!
But I am planning to go to Nanimo this weekend :S Not sure if it is a wise decision. Feel lots of things in hands. Anyway, let's see.

DUC result come out today. We did quite well in linugistic quality which make me very happy.

Learned Latex from Flavia today, start wrting thesis. Yesterday, found some thesis template , decided to learn from Regina and others.

Lots to do ahead.

Thesis blog start !

Thanks to Fred, Anoop and Gabor, I finally get my thesis plan pulled up yesterday, felt a little bit more stabled. Another good news is finally getting my Teaching Certificate done ! Now I can have more time to concerntrate now. REALLY Need to START NOW!

As promised, I will give a weekly update report to Gabor. Here I will set up a daily blog to track down the hours I put on the thesis work. Plan: 8 - 10 hours per day. No less than 6 hours.
